Summary
As soon as Ruby passes through Weiss’ wall and into her room, Weiss throws a glass of water at her. It, of course, falls to the ground, and Ruby watches the fluffy-looking carpet soak up the liquid.
Clicking her tongue, she looks up at Weiss. “Did you just throw water at me?”
Weiss looks back and forth between stained carpet and the now-empty glass with a glare. “It’s holy, supposedly.”
Ruby’s jaw drops. “You think I’m, like, a demon or something?”

Ruby dreads sleeping, because what that means for her is astral-projecting around Vale aimlessly while her body gets the rest it deserves.
Then, she finds a girl who can see her in her astral form. And Ruby no longer dreads sleeping.

Countless times, innumerable, even among the waking world.
Her dreams were simple. So simple, in fact, that her canvas could always be painted anew.
So then why did she dream of rot?

Everyday, the Rot eats away at Ruby. First it took her sight, then her arm, and then her leg. It eats her up from the inside out, never killing her, but never quite letting her rest.
She dreams, but the dreams only raise more questions.
Questions that make her wonder where Ruby Rose ends, and where Malenia begins.

Summary
Ruby Rose languishes in her humble shop, wasting her days with her useless degree while her sister does awesome mecha stuff across the galaxy. Nobody knows or cares about her specialty, they just want their busted cybers fixed.
Fortunately for her, that means there's nobody else for a biotech-augmented Weiss Schnee to seek maintenance from. All she has to do is keep her eyes up, keep her hands steady, and do what she's best at. It's a bag she couldn't possibly fumble.
So long as she doesn't stare at those stupid, sexy augs.
