Jason was ten years in the past, nine-years-old, and fending for himself on the streets of Gotham. Bruce might not know about Jason yet in the timeline, but Batman was the only one who could protect him against Black Mask.

I sent the sample over to a pathologist at Gotham Central, and they called this morning. They found Reed-Sternberg cells in the sample, which are indicative of classical Hodgkin lymphoma.”

    Tim’s walls of denial came crashing down. He wasn’t fine. Lymphoma meant cancer. He had cancer.
