"What if she is?" He whispers conspiratorially, lashes wet and eyes wild.
"Pardon?"
"Hear me out-"
"Phoenix-"
"No, seriously, I think you're on to something." Phoenix rips himself away from Miles' grip and stumbles out of the car
Phoenix and Miles drive back home after dropping Trucy off at college for the first time.

Summary
Trucy sniffs the air as she squeezes herself besides Miles on the couch, "see, that's how I knew you were here. Smelled way too good for it to be Daddy's cooking."
"Wuzzat..?" Wright grunts, roused from sleep, squirming himself upright. Miles' executive functions shut down as Wright's lips unintentionally brush against his pulse point. He hopes the dim lighting hides the blush creeping up his neck as the man sits up, smacking his lips together, "oh, hey Truce."
After falling asleep on his shoulder, Phoenix accidentally kisses Miles, sending them both into a spiral.

Summary
Miles had always warned Wright that psycho-locks were illogical, but did Wright ever listen? Of course not! And now look at them: tethered together by some sort of mystical handcuffs that shortened every time they argued. If they ever wanted to escape, they might actually be forced to talk about their feelings. This was all Wright’s fault!
