Summary
Iwaizumi Hajime has been working most of his life toward being in division 1 volleyball as an outside hitter. It took him a long time to make it because power positions are rarely given to Omegas so he will put up with anything to remain there once he makes it. Even if that means having to put up with Oikawa Tooru, an Alpha setter that does not think Omegas can be hitters.
The two butt-heads almost immediately. Life for the team is made rocky by Iwaizumi and Oikawa because Iwaizumi won't back down and Oikawa won't see reason. But the two will have to find a way to fit each other's playing style on the court. And they do.
That's when sparks start to fly and as Iwaizumi starts to realize them he realizes something else; Oikawa has a mark on his ear. He has a mate somewhere. A mate he never talks about. A mate no one ever talks about.
That means that nothing can be done about their possible feelings for each other, right? Are they supposed to pretend they’re not drawn to one another? Is Iwaizumi supposed to back off? Is Oikawa supposed to look at him like that?
Well...

Summary
Hajime raises his head, only to see Tooru arching a brow at him as he crosses his arms. There’s a grin on his face, smug and a little devious, and Hajime wishes a meteor would strike the earth at this very moment. Mortification creeps up on him, a flush traveling up his neck and bleeding into his cheeks just as Tooru says, “So you’re dating me, huh?”
(or: iwaizumi and oikawa pretend to be a couple during a family trip, because that will definitely go well).

There’s a sign taped to the door: "Sitting Volleyball sign ups - today!"
“No,” Tooru says. “No, Hajime, I can’t.”
“Just one practice,” Hajime replies. “Please. For me.”-
Oikawa loses a leg. But he gains some things, too.

Summary
“You must marry well, Tooru,” his mother says the evening before they return to the castle. “We can’t weather the same storm again. You must marry an appropriate Seijan woman from a good family. If your sister has a boy our next king could be the first monarch with direct outlander blood since the 1700s. You cannot afford to be foolish.”
Heir to both the throne and the mantle of his country's legendary protector the Green Lion, Tooru the First of Aoba Johsai is determined to do everything right. There's vibranium to protect and royal scandals to quash - he doesn't have time for anything but excellence. Whether pointing a gun at his prospective brother-in-law, provoking politicians, sleeping with a millionaire weapons' dealer, and waging a silent and one-sided war of attrition against his best friend's girlfriend counts as 'right' is...debatable.
But a king is made, not born, and throughout it all, from age five to twenty-five, is Hajime.
