The wine glass in Chuuya's hand shatters from his sheer grip. Surprised for a few seconds, Akutagawa hurriedly schools his expression back to neutral, also noting that the glass was thankfully already empty when Chuuya broke it.
"You're married?" Chuuya's blue eyes are wide like dinner plates. "What the fuck? Are you for real?"
The Port Mafia discover that there's more to the mysterious and brutal ability user they know.
For one, they find out Akutagawa is married.
And he's happily in love with his spouse.

‘What? At becoming my owner? Not a chance. I don’t remember the last one, but they can’t have been a pleasant person if this is what I turned into, don’t you think?’ Akutagawa spat.
‘I meant at being your friend.’
Silence.
‘What is wrong with you?’
(In which Akutagawa is too proud to admit he's lonely, but Atsushi is certain even robots feel that way sometimes. And maybe he's right. Well damn it.)

‘There are things I’d like to show you, if you’d let me. Maybe they will change your mind after all. We’re about the same age, right? Maybe we could be friends.’
Chuuya didn’t have many of those himself.
‘Why would you want to be friends with someone who wants to die? I’ll just leave you and make you feel sad again. I’ve done it before.’
Was he talking about a previous friend he’d abandoned? Somehow, the sentence just didn’t make sense to him.
‘Well, we don’t know that unless we try, right?’
