Clark heard the static of Nightwing’s earpiece crackle to life as Oracle started talking. “There’s an attempted breaking and entering, half a mile south of you. Can you—”
“On it.” Dick sprang to his feet and rolled his shoulders back, and suddenly Nightwing wasn’t just a story Clark had shared with a little boy all those years ago. “That’s my cue. See you around, Supes.”
“Of course. Real quick, though,” Clark added, a little desperate. “If he’s not like…that, then what is Bruce actually like when he’s drunk?”
“My friend,” Dick said, holding Clark by the shoulders in mock seriousness. “Perhaps one day you will know—but today is not that day.”
“Right, of course, sure.” Bats and their secrets. “Be careful out there, buddy.”
“Always am,” Dick said, lying through his teeth as he dropped ever so casually from the building.

Summary
“Why Plastic Man?” Hal asked.
“He’s on monitor duty right now,” the Bat didn’t even sound out of breath. He was typing something out on some sort of communicator device he had pulled from his belt. It looked like a phone, but a bit bulkier. He put a hand to his comm and switched it on, so the three heroes with him heard both his actual voice and the echo of it in their ears. Though Batman was clearly trying to reach Clark, Diana, and Barry, it threw Hal off balance for a second.
“The intruder is not dangerous. Do not engage.”
Hal was just disoriented enough that he kept running, spurred on by the fact that, despite his message, Batman was still sprinting down the halls. The three of them reached the medbay, and Batman came to an abrupt halt, the other three skidding to a stop beside him. Standing there, covered in blood, was Nightwing.
OR
The Bats gather on the Watchtower. Tensions are high. The JL just wants to know what the hell is going on.

Summary
Luca's had plenty of time to get used to how things are in the big leagues. Plenty of time to learn the ins and outs, plenty of time to settle into the team dynamic and get used to playing with the two men he idolized his entire childhood.
Plenty of time to figure out how to get his head on straight after games, plenty of time to figure out how to decompress after practices. Everyone seems to have their own thing, except for Luca. He just can't seem to get his head on right. At least until he learns that sometimes, giving up complete control, is exactly what he needs. And who better to do it with the two people he trust the most?
