I watched one edit of Rarry to Black Friday by Tom Odell and have decided to make it everyone’s problem.Summary: Ron is struggling to cope in the wake of tragedy, trauma, and being in love with his best friend. It took eight years, but Ron is no longer in denial about his feelings for Harry. Which sounds like a good thing, “progress”, but for Ron it’s torture. Ron feels dirty and ruined, while Harry remains beautiful and untouchable. Grief is suffocating them all.
This story will get pretty dark at times- heed the warnings. But it is a hurt/comfort him.

Summary
The fic diverges from canon from the time Ron leaves and then returns during the Horcrux hunt. It will take a darker turn as Ron witnesses extreme brutality at the hands of the snatchers and then learns how far the wizarding world has already fallen as he recovers in Shell Cottage. Armed with this information Ron returns and the trio has to deal with war in its barest and ugliest form.
Please note:
In this fic, Voldemort isn't an idiot making mistakes which miraculously help the trio. And neither are battle hardened death eaters shy of committing grave acts of violence and other sin. Any victory over them would be hard fought, requiring sacrifices and making hard choices.It is also dark in nature so I will try my best to pepper it with some comedy. Will try to update as frequently as I can.
Also, I can't recommend Fate by TrueSpartan enough. Choices by Random Fruitcake was great too. A slightly different but an equally engaging work is Waking Up by Hillnerd
