Peter glared at Frank’s outstretched hand which beckoned for the bag resting upon his shoulder
Oh well, his funeral.
He shrugged and dropped the bag strap into Frank’s open palm, watching his shoulder plummet towards the ground as he yelped in a very unladylike fashion.
After a few mildly pathetic attempts to hoist the bag onto his shoulder, and a lot of grunting, The Punisher finally appeared to give in and accept his inferiority, directing a stormy look at the young adult in front of him, ‘What the hell, kid.’
‘Oh, Mr Tough Guy can’t handle a little bag of weapons anymore?’ Peter snarked back.

“So, when are you going to give Superman back the clothes he left at your place?” Jimmy joked, pretending to interview Mr. Kent, voice recorder on and pointed at Clark’s mouth. The noise of the crowd was enough to cover him—or so he thought. Clark was about to give a smartass answer back, but noticed that Luthor had stopped dead in his tracks.
Luthor was no longer straining against the arms of the officers, but now completely focused on Clark. He swallowed and looked behind and around him, but he was the only one tall enough to stand out from the crowd at a distance. Yup, Lex Luthor was staring straight at him. Then at his lanyard, with both his first and last name printed on it. Shoot.

He managed to avoid that—mostly—by accidentally revealing to the entire team that he can hack, disable, and reboot the Iron Man armor using nothing but a cracked smartphone and a Bluetooth bypass he coded during lunch.

Peter sighed and stared at his beer, turning the bottle to unseeingly stare at the label. “I don’t know, Wade, it’s just…” Peter trailed off.
“Just what?” Wade pushed gently. Sometimes with Peter, he had to lead the conversation back to the problem Peter was having when he trailed off. It happened often enough when real life responsibilities started to become fuddled with the super hero life and Peter couldn’t figure out how to balance them.
“I don’t know how much longer I can do this, Wade,” Peter sighed deeply. He slouched in on himself like the weight of the world he held up on his shoulders for so long was finally breaking him down.
