Summary
There was something in the way of a steady roar in police headquarters, something that you learned to tune out as time went on. The sound of computers, chatter, people in the holding cells yelling for attention. There were small things that you only heard in police stations, too. The sound of chains from handcuffs against the metal of chairs. The click of firm boot heels from new recruits as they walked the office halls. The photocopier, that despite most things being digital, seemed to manage to keep its space within their force, running nearly constantly for almost as long as Hank had been there.
It was Hank’s version of quiet, and he loved it.
Today, under Hank’s assumption, would not be a memorable day.
The exact moment that the androids went quiet, he would never forget that.

Summary
When Senkuu develops a quiet habit of tapping rhythmic patterns against his lab table or on himself, no one pays it any mind.. except Gen, who quickly realizes the sounds aren’t random at all. Curious, he asks to learn Morse code under the excuse of practicality, and Senku agrees without a second thought. But as Gen begins to understand the patterns, he uncovers messages that feel far too deliberate, and far too personal to be meaningless. Unsure if he’s reading it right, he turns to Ukyo for confirmation… only to find that the words Senku can’t seem to say out loud, Gen had understood and decoded it perfectly, hidden in dots and dashes the whole time. Senku's other way of managing his thoughts that he doesn't know how to express.

Summary
Sonic, hero of Mobius from a young age, knew what hibernation was. He’d heard of it, he’d seen Amy do it every once in a while, but he’d never experienced it himself. There was just never any time. Never a moment where he felt safe enough. What if Eggman attacked, and everyone needed him? There was too much to worry about and too much for him to do to take so much time off being vulnerable and useless.
Or, Sonic hibernates for the first time, and Shadow does a not-so-great job of keeping calm.
