Summary
Elrond, Disa and Durin wish to get married; the date has already been chosen, but now they’re running into a problem: the final Dwarven rite requires for each of them to have a family member present during the ceremony in which they will be blessed with an enriching marriage. Elrond struggles to fulfil his partners’ request and wishes to have a particular cousin there, but can he find said cousin in time for the wedding to happen?
(An AU in which Erestor is a son of Caranthir, making him a distant cousin of Elrond. Also, I am choosing to ignore specific parts of the lore surrounding the founding of a certain city – I do not care that it was only found in the TA, my fic, my party!)
