Sherry smiled, something soft in her expression.
“It’s Grace, isn’t it?”
His ears turned red immediately.
Fuck… am I that predictable?
“It is! I knew it! Well, I’m happy for you. I hope you both—”
“Too soon, oracle. She has no idea.”
“I’m pretty sure she does, Leon.”
He sighed, covering his face with his hands—not out of shame, but pure exhaustion, caught between discomfort and the urge to finally admit it.
“Well… good for her. Like I said, I’m old. Old enough to be her father. She deserves someone better than me. Someone more… available.”
Sherry pulled a chair and sat beside him.
“Let me tell you something, Kennedy.”
“Mm.”
“Twenty-eight years living in this mess. My dear friend… it’s time. We could both use a fresh start. Don’t you think?”
He stared at his hands in silence.
“I don’t know, Sherry… I’m a fucked-up mess.”Or:

Chris’s eyes whip to his, fast. He searches his face, maybe he thinks Leon is lying, but he isn’t, so there’s no deception to be found in his expression as far as he knows. He pushes off the desk, takes a couple steps to stand in front of Leon, then drops to his knees. They’re at eye level now, Leon still a bit hunched over. “I thought you couldn’t?” He asks, voice hoarse.
TLDR; I can't believe Leon S. Kennedy was pregnant with Grace during RE4, he should've been on maternity leave.

Except, only some were attacking. More people ran away until they passed an unlucky soul, forced to chomp their teeth into any skin they could lunge at.

Started in 2010 as at first a one-shot fic that developed into a myth arc with many side questions being asked (and hopefully answered) namely: What is the true nature of a being created for the sole purpose of war? What are the ethics in creating/raising said being? Can a Tyrant feel beyond base nature?
Is a tool simply a tool?Can a broken toy soldier expect comfort from said Tyrant? Can a Tyrant understand fully such concepts as intimacy, honesty, affection...evenlove? Or are certain things not of them - and is having such expectations of a Tyrant sane? So many questions stemming from what was originally a 'simple' beauty and the beast crackfic.It is comprised of:

In a world where the prophet Morrowseer never devised the Dragonet Prophecy, a certain Rainwing still ended up the Queen and investigated the disappearances. In a world where the Dragonets of Destiny were never gathered, a certain Nightwing became Head Scientist due to the untimely death of his father, forced to continue his experiments.
A deal, an act of treason, and a swift surrender led Glory to conquer the Nightwing tribe with no Rainwing casualties. With her new right claw dragon she established the first empire on Pyrrhia.
If only she knew what to do with all these marriage proposals.
