Summary
Faelen, a druid wood elf has lived a relatively secluded life. After an attack that left her clan destroyed and displaced, she banded together with a rag tag pack of canines, who became new found family.
When a hunting expedition has gone awry, she finds herself sacrificing her freedom to protect what's left of her companions. Being captured for trespassing and hunting within the Mirkwood forest, her future lies in the hands of an unknown king, who seems more aware of her essence than he let on.
While the unlikely pair struggles to find a middle ground, the urgency for understanding comes with from the potential for an all out war that stands to kill not only what remains of the Moon Travelers, but all of Middle Earth.
Between stolen glances two elves who fought to protect their people at the cost of being a good leader and bad friend, find themselves connecting in more ways than one.
Whether the fire between them is able to destroy or save the clan, they still hadn’t decided.
