Summary
So today Steve was annoyed at him about the mission. Of course. It's not like Tony wanted to worry him though. It was just that he wanted to help.
The Avengers have a long hall flight from Malaysia to the US. It might just be the perfect time for Steve and Tony to work out exactly what is going on after the whole Ultron incident and discuss this unspoken thing between them. And hey, maybe someone could get Tony some Tylenol too. And a hospital actually.

Turns out, so is Steve.
A story following the events of Civil War where Tony goes too far and nearly gets himself killed. Steve and Peter refuse to let that happen.

The universe never asked permission from Tony Stark or Steve Rogers. It threw them forward—one through space and the other through time—and left them sleepless in the aftermath.

It's 2012 and the Avengers are still becoming a family. Steve is freshly thawed, deeply repressed, and running on fumes. Meanwhile, Tony is half-convinced his attraction to Steve is some pseudo-Freudian, psycho-sexual cosmic joke the universe is playing on him. Natasha enjoys reading both of them for filth. Clint is a menace with a deck of cards and a popcorn bowl. Bruce is stressed. Thor is proudly in love. Nick Fury and Maria Hill are so done with all of them.There are movie nights, broken tv remotes, and shared breakfasts.
There are tabloid drama mags, invasive journalists, and talk-show ghouls.
There are sleepless nights between Steve and Tony that feel far too intimate to be nothing, but far too vague to be anything more.There's also the monthly Doombot invasion that’s less a threat to Manhattan and more Doctor Doom’s ongoing attempt to court Tony Stark.
That is until Steve tells Doctor Doom that he and Tony are already married.

Summary
And there are plenty of shirts he could give Steve to wear. The black sleeveless, the red tee, the white workout shirt - hell, he doesn’t really need a shirt. They are all reasonable selections for sleeping, yet Billy digs down and finds the cropped grey Everlast shirt he wore at the pool and he immediately takes it out of the pile.
