Somewhere on-screen, a giant mutant octopus was eating a cruise ship.
Neither of them noticed.
Gojo Satoru and Itadori Yūji meet by chance. Everything after that is a choice.
Between midnight screenings, terrible horror movies, cursed spirits and new friends, choosing each other becomes surprisingly easy.

For as long as Yuuji could remember, he had wandered alone throughout Japan to eradicate curses and curse users alike.
And in the near future, he would finally be left alone. After all, Nobara would also leave him at the end no matter how hard she holds on to her life.
After one certain mission, Yuuji receives a call from an unknown number. He answers it without a thought. After all, what if it was an emergency or something? It wouldn't hurt to answer it.
"Hello?"
For a moment, nothing answered except a layer of soft static, the kind that sounded like an old radio searching desperately for a signal. Just as Yuuji frowned and began pulling the phone away from his ear, a voice finally broke through the interference with an unmistakably amused laugh.
"Seriously? That's how you answer the phone these days? What happened to 'Hello, beloved and incredibly handsome Gojo-sensei?'"
Every muscle in his body locked at once, and his grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles turned white as he stared blankly at the empty road stretching out before him.
