Summary
It occurs to Atsushi that he could just try and talk to Dazai about his wants, but he doubts he could make the words work and frankly he’s pretty okay with how their relationship is going so far.
OR, Atsushi's insight leads him to some correct conclusions, he almost overthinks himself out of them, and then fucks himself right back into being correct.

Summary
The scientists knew that simply creating a vessel for Arahabaki wouldn't be enough, not if it wouldn't be stable.
So they researched, and found an older god to keep the chaos god in line.

Summary
Dazai leans back, far enough that he’s looking at Chuuya upside down. His coat falls off his shoulders, draping over the armchair like a second shadow. That thin smile snakes across his face. “I have a question for you, Chuuya. Don’t answer right away!” He waggles a finger in admonishment and a snicker bubbles up. “It’s serious. I want to know.”
Pushing back a sigh, Chuuya answers, “Fine.”
“When I finally get it right—when I finally kill myself—how are you going to celebrate?”

“I fucking get it,” Chuuya said, his voice nearly a growl. “You love him. You hate him. You wish you’d never met him and you never want to let him go. His praise is what you lived for, and his scorn made you want to die. Those claws, those teeth, get in deep, and sharp, and hard, and painfully. But you would sacrifice anything if it meant getting him back.”
Atsushi still did not make eye contact, blushing. His grip on himself tightened.
“Would you?” he asked ironically.
“Without hesitation,” Chuuya said quickly. “And I know how.”
Chuuya and Atsushi have been serving for years under the Port Mafia Boss Osamu Dazai, Chuuya as his right-hand man, Atsushi as his guard dog and pet. Both were used and abused by the mob boss, twisted into his web of deception and desire, and so they have every reason to celebrate his death . . . only Chuuya finds the way to peer into the other worlds and with it, sees the reason behind Dazai’s actions — as well as the possibility of a happy life with him. Together, he and Atsushi try to change their own world to seek the man they both love and hate to save themselves and him, and to forge a loving future for all of them.
