    Asgard is one of the nine great realms. They are proud warriors who hunt huge prey and return to their cave to roast it by the fire. At that moment, they sing, get drunk on mead, and if they're lucky, they fornicate.

    Loki doesn't take part; he is not strong enough, brave enough, or noble enough... and he is not loved enough to join them.

    Midgard has better weapons; Tony Stark is ahead of his time and makes them.

    The war between Jotunheim and Asgard is approaching, and Asgard is willing to sell whatever it takes for Midgard's weapons. And if Tony Stark only wants Loki in exchange, it's a good deal, right?

    When Loki is sent to Midgard, stripped of his magic and made mortal, tasked with working alongside the mortals to make repairations for the damages he caused during the invasion. Fury tasks Tony with the job of being a guide of sorts. Both to make sure he stays out of trouble and to make sure he's not treated to harshly. Unfortunately, that does not turn out to be the best decision as Tony and the others make little effort to keep an eye on the trickster who was not granted any sort of a disguise before his magic was taken from him. Vulnerable in a city that hates him...things are going to get worse before they get better.
