“No, Peter,” Bruce confirms gently, not sure why the truth feels wrong, “I'm not your father.”
The boy opens his eyes, expression full of grief and eyes a blazing gold flecked with green, “My name's actually Jason.”

To his horror, he felt tears well up in his eyes. Not only could he not afford the dehydration, but he also couldn’t believe he was this shaken up over a fever. Maybe living in the Manor really had made him soft, even if he was a kick-ass vigilante by night.
“Jason?” pounding on the door. Bruce. “Jason, can you let me in?”
Jason didn’t respond. He was a little busy passing out for the second time that day.

Jason sickfic! He doesn't handle being sick well either before or after the Pit, but luckily he has the Bats to help him, even if they have to drag him kicking and screaming.

Jason blinked. “Nah, pretty sure that’s coffee.”
“Most common stakeout drink for children,” he amended after he swallowed.
“And you just carry them around?”
Bruce shrugged. “Never hurts to be prepared.”
