Still holding the sword in one hand, the Knight placed their other hand on his shoulder. It felt like it was supposed to be a reassuring gesture, but it only made Tenna grow smaller.

Okay, so Akira was good at this. That fact didn’t do anything to him. It wasn’t like Goro had gone so long without being touched that he could barely remember what it felt like, and now Akira’s hands were apparently skilled enough to make his muscles calm down when everything else he’d tried had failed. This was fine.
