Summary
As the pleasant afterglow of a rough fuck started to fade, all Merlin was left with was the ache in his lower back and in his heart. Arthur had already showered, carefully washing Merlin’s smell off him, and he was almost completely dressed in his pristine suit. The blonde never stayed for cuddles. Not even for a few minutes.

Summary

All eyes were on him and he needed to behave accordingly; with composure, with dignity, with no overly-apparent special treatment for a servant of all people.
“Please. Let him go. He’s just…” He glanced down at Merlin, making it clear to the boy that he was directing his next words straight to him, “…a simple-minded fool.”-
Set in s04e05. Queen Annis does not give Merlin up so easily.
