Simon Riley gets medically discharged and it breaks him. He loses touch with the rest of the 141 over time, not that he doesn't try to stay in touch. He tries, but sometimes the smallest things are too much. Ghost no longer exists, and after receiving much needed help, Simon Riley is finally alive to live a life he never though he would have. While he wants to reach out, he's no longer the lieutenant they knew. He can't be the person they knew, not again. 13 years pass before he takes another big step in his life; dating. Specifically online dating. A few terrible dates and several weird ice breakers in his dms later, someone catches his eye with a joke.

Ghost absently looks over to the target, staring at the mangled centre of it, where he’d stopped counting how many times he’d fired, and the final shot through its head. That had been a little overboard.“Think you killed it already, Lt.” Soap’s hand rests on Ghost’s shoulder. Part of his brain is set alight like a flare, wants to run, he’s going to scream, but another wants to lean into the touch. It wants to be comforted, held until the only thing around him is Johnny. That’s not something he will ever allow himself.

Alfred has tried every diet on the goddamn internet. He’s tried Keto, Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, even some sketchy chinese one he’d uncertainly translated off of a pop-up ad. He’s tried exercise plans, intuitive eating, calorie restriction, and just plain not eating at all. He has tried everything under the sun to lose weight.
It’s still not enough, so he leaves them with nothing.
(OR; Alfred doesn’t understand what to do to make himself ‘worthy’ of the other countries' praise. He’s getting pretty sick of it.)
