Vashwood Week Day 7: First Time
"This is what you want, right, Spikey?"
The darkness in Wolfwood's tone made Vash swallow, an odd pulse down south making him shift on his knees as he nodded in response.
"Then, drink up."
Incandescent light caught on the glass, gathering in twinkling points against it and the precious liquor inside and creating little stars in Vash's eyes as the glass slowly tilted down. Initially, the thin stream missed his open lips, making Vash flinch when the cool liquid splashed against his chin. A crude, amused prayer slipped past Wolfwood's lips when Vash leaned forward to correct the trajectory. Alcohol burned his tongue and throat, and he knew his cheeks were burning from far more than his intoxication as he held eye contact with the man before him.
And oh goodness those eyes…

Summary
Picks up in the car after the Suwa family showdown in Ep.12.
They have been partners for years, and they still are. They're just a different kind now, I guess? After making the drastic (and arguably psychotic) plan to leave the hitman business, Kazuki and Rei are forced to make a huge life transition. They have to become normal people. As they work together to adapt to this new and confusing life they find themselves developing new and confusing feelings as well. A continuation of what the anime set up, they are just two "best friends" trying to find a way through their mental illness, past trauma, and their everyday lives together. Unless, maybe there's more to it than that?
I wanted to dive into their near future but also elaborate on their past. So every chapter I am trying to include a current event and a related memory.
