Prism knows Flambae is emotionally constipated and jealous, so she gives him a push."Flambae was holding his glass in a white-knuckled grip, glaring across the club. A deep frown was planted on his face. A growl stuck in his throat. Robert was walking around in jeans too big for his slim, lean frame. A fire motif licked up the sides of the pants; they hung low on the man's hips, revealing a prominent V-line. His top half was just as exposed, only black X-s covering the man's nipples, a ripped fishnet top that barely counted as a shirt hugged him; it was a decoration more than anything. But the man's face was the true killer; Robert's tired eyes were dusted with black and orangish red eyeshadow, the colors of fire. Flambaes colors. He knew Prism had done this on purpose. And god was it working, watching the man mingle and flirt with men and women alike was bad enough, but seeing him do it while in Flambaes colors? He was practically announcing whose he was, and yet he was still so far out of Flambaes's grasp. "

“He with you?” the bouncer asks, head tilted up to look at Flambae. There’s a lot of emphasis on that “with”, and Robert can feel his face beginning to heat up. Was Flambae even in the room when they talked about this? Or is he about to be mortified into the next week by a classic Flambae dressing-down at the mere possibility of him dating someone like Robert?
But then the heat in his face is joined by another, external source of warmth when a firm arm slips around his waist, and he’s gently tugged to Flambae’s side. “Yeah,” Flambae says, without hesitation. “Is that a problem?”

“Why don’t you go focus on work, huh? You’re still on the clock.” Chad winks, and then he’s hooking his fingers into the string of Robert’s sweatpants.
He really shouldn’t indulge this behavior. He should stand up, smack Chad upside the head, and then lock himself in the guest room until he’s sure he isn’t about to get groped by his not-boyfriend.
What he does instead is he turns back to his computer and un-mutes his mic.
