Summary
A lot has changed for Peridot the last few years, but at least one thing stays constant: when she's determined to do something, she's going to give it her absolute best shot. Whether it's inspecting 500 near-identical Rubies in a Kindergarten, stopping the Cluster, trying to make Lapis Lazuli smile, or building Little Homeworld, Peridot has a tendency to throw everything she has into it.
Still, even the most determined of Peridots needs to take a break occasionally.
This is a story about Peridot learning how to take a nap. Really.

Peridot is a certified kindergartener, well-versed in the workings of a gemstone. Of course she understands the mechanics of gem touching... in theory. Unfortunately, understanding a theory and being confronted with your very real girlfriend's very real gemstone are two very different things.
