"Oh my God, you can tell you don't commute," Anathema said. "The buses went on strike, Mr. Crowley."
"That's perfectly normal for London. You'll learn."
"You're not listening! Not the drivers, the buses. They're organising - meeting in secret, holding little candlelight vigils. Nobody else really knows what's going on - everyone's just assuming it's, like, general TfL incompetence or something - but it's only a matter of time. So what are you going to do about it?"
"Er... have they submitted a list of their demands?" Crowley said helplessly.

The sky burns red with the last rays of sun, Crowley's watch showing him that, despite things going sideways in such a spectacular way, there's still at least an hour until dusk. Some time for him to fuck things up even more, while trying to find a way out of here before night settles.
He doesn't want to be here, lost and alone, once the darkness creeps in.

Crowley offhandedly mentions his appreciation for tentacle porn. Of course, they can both easily manifest tentacles on their bodies, but Aziraphale decides to take it a few steps too far and transforms himself altogether into a tentacle monster. And proceeds to get stuck like that. Crowley's not too concerned, though, because he's been stuck as a snake before and it's more of a several-week nuisance than an existential problem. And in the mean time, they can play out all kinds of wet and messy tentacle fantasies.
