Ashe might take on the galaxy, but Joker was always there to be her safe harbour amidst the blood and the chaos. When the day comes where she must stand on the precipice, Ashe will do whatever it takes to ensure Joker doesn’t fall with her into oblivion. He might be her pilot, but it’s her duty to bring him home to peaceful shores.

I always found myself disappointed that Saul wasn't one of the romanceable options in Cyberpunk and so this story has been swirling around my head, and in my writing drafts, for some time now. I figured I'd give myself a push and just publish it.
It follows the Aldecaldos missions with quite a lot of the in-game dialogue, texts, and some extra added here and there to - hopefully - make it flow better. Maybe, just maybe, someone else might stumble across this and if you do and you like it, then I'm grateful.
It starts from the very first phone call V makes to Panam and goes from there. I've included V's friendships with Panam and a few more appearences of our RockerBoy Johnny because I think him and V becoming friends adds a lot to V's own growth as a character.
A long story depicting the slow burn romance between V (Cyberpunk 2077) and Saul Bright (Cyberpunk 2077 leader of the Aldecaldos).

With Johnny Silverhand at her side, it’s nearly impossible for V to have a life of her own anymore. But one person seems to keep showing up – for better or worse, neither her nor Johnny can seem to decide.
Mike Kowalski, ex-Tyger Claw, now solo merc with a resume longer than most, considering he was actually still alive. His most recent stunt though, getting him cornered in a Kabuki apartment complex, was bringing him terribly close to ending that list. Until a nameless merc saves his sorry ass.
When pressure mounts and V's window starts closing, whose she going to turn to in her hour of need?

V and Mike romance along with main story events, with some complicated Johnny romance just to make things harder for poor V. Slow burn with themes of loneliness, loss of self, spiced with betrayal and a couple standard tropes in between. Fix-it fixer ending of my own making.
