Simon is taken in the Blood ocean again after showing his discover of a skull. On his second round he hears a quiet voice, but the radio wires are cut- so where is it coming from? He hears another voice, a feminine one still unfamiliar but she is much easier to hear.

Summary
Bucky Barnes, after fighting beside his Best Friend Captain America only to be left in the modern world reverts back into a reclusive life.
Sadly, that doesn't mean peace as his life as the Winter Soldier comes to haunt and he itches for a gun in his left hand and blood on the right. Though this time he can decide who his mission is, and return to the fight as the White Wolf.
Sam never gave up the shield and is in the works of training the new Falcon. Until he had to stop when he discovered the not so new assassin.
Or; I take inspiration from the fact in the Comics Bucky was the one actually getting his hands dirty so Steve didn't have to. Creating a dark version on the Bucky Barnes we know and love in the movies. All while Sam tries to piece together who is killing these people in a powerful position and seemingly innocent.

Summary
//Bucky —since Hydra— took suppressants, masking his scent and ruts for a long time. But since joining the New Avengers and elected as the leader by popular demand he is advised to let them remove the implant and use his title to control the group better.
Bucky thinks it’s pointless considering from what he can tell the majority of his companions are Alphas themselves. Still being ever so obedient he does and now challenges the idea of having to be leader (a role he’s never been in) and getting John to stop lingering around him.
Or; Bucky tries being a Leader even though he’s not the only Alpha while John has come to a liking to Bucky’s scent and does his best not to reveal he’s an Enigma (failing most of the time but Bucky is oblivious)//

Summary
Grace really had nothing to complain about. Sure, he was still living with his twin brother and his wife (thank you Colt and Jody!), and maybe he had to turn down the annoying advances of one Tom Ryder, but he had a lot going for him. He taught a class of wildly intelligent kids, he had his science, and he had his loving family. What more could Grace really want? Well, a lot. He wanted to make a difference in the world! But when Colt is seemingly kidnapped by a beast, Grace doesn't hesitate to give up his freedom in exchange for his brother. Now, he's stuck in this castle with said monster and his rock-spider-thing servants.
The monster, Simon, he comes to learn, is freaky, and kind of an asshole, but the more time he spends with him, the more Grace comes to see the man behind the teeth and claws. And he thinks he might really like him. And if Grace thinks the teeth and claws are kind of hot, well that doesn't hurt either.
Will Grace be able overcome Simon's fishy exterior and love him truly? Will Simon see past his own hurt and pride to love Grace? Or will outside forces come between them before they have that chance?

Summary
"So he's really paralyzed?" Simon asks.
"Oh? Uh, yeah." Grace turns back to Rocky's sleeping form and gestures broadly at him.
Rocky is curled at the bottom of his tunnel, legs at his sides, body resting on the ground.
Simon nods, looking uncomfortable. "So he won't interrupt."
"Nah, he can't, he's– huh?" Grace fumbles for his glasses in earnest now. His heart rate picks up, but he's sort of hoping he's wildly misinterpreting what he just heard.
"Sit back down." Simon growls as Grace goes to stand up.
Slowly, Grace sits back down on the floor. He looks Simon over again and realizes, with a panicked flutter in his stomach that quickly spreads through his limbs like ice water, that Simon is holding a razor blade.

Grace & Rocky decide to go check out an SOS call. It could have gone better. (Trust me, eventual codependent friendship all around.)

When the facility explosion takes out the only people on Earth who can save their sun, Stratt is left with her last option: The C Team

"Grace! Grace, come look at screen, statment!" Grace rolled his eyes for a moment before he shuffled his way over to where Rocky was perched on the chair, taking a look at the screen his friend was almost excitedly pointing at. "...What the hell?" "Looks like liquid, but moon too small for liquid. We take more look, question?"
Grace flicked a couple of switches and pressed a few buttons, and the Hail Mary ran a quick scan of the moon. And pinged that there was, somehow, LIFE somewhere within the liquid. "Yeah. We'll take a closer look."
