Summary
After graduating high school, Danny moved to Gotham to study and work and importantly not having to fight ghosts on a daily basis. Each hour spent as Phantom means two hours recovering for him, so he avoids it as best he can. As the Ghost King, he can't avoid it fully. He does well to stay under the radar, until his boss, Lucius Fox, wants him to work on a Top Secret Project. Coincidentally, he befriends Tim, not realizing who he is dealing with at first. Then Tim helps him recover after a rogue attack, and friendship turns into love quickly.
Uploads each Monday; Chapters around 4k words each. I have already written 120k words and am still counting.

Peter Parker died.
He'd lived through a fatal spider bite, the transformation that came from that bite, a shit ton of bullet, knife, explosion etc wounds, a building falling down on him. He'd also lived through a war on another planet, getting quite literally dusted out of existence, and then coming back to fight yet another war. And more, he'd lived through a betrayal of someone he trusted with his life, and lived through death threats, bricks thrown at his windows, temporary homelessness, and villains coming from different dimensions with the sole intention to kill him.
He'd lived through it all.
Until one day, he didn't.
Or,
Peter Parker falls through a portal during a fight
And dies.

He was seated upon his royal throne at the head of the table in the great marble hall where diplomatic meetings were held since the reign of Finwë. “Finrod would never have betrayed Amarië, Artanis only had one child and she wouldn’t lie about that, neither would Angrod or my grandson. As for my other boy, we know that he had lost his heart to one that passed on, leaving no children. Besides, his hair is too dark.”
“Irissë only had Lómion, thank Eru that man hadn’t defiled her further.” Fingolfin spoke, thoughtfully holding his chin. “Elenwë passed on the Grinding Ice, and as fond as he is of my mother, Turgon vowed to never take another bride. He cannot be his. My dearest little Argon died before he ever wed. That leaves Fingon, but, of course, he was never wed.”
