Summary
this is a series of one shots that follow a loose season 8 au. each episode has a fic and it works under the premise that Jon and Sansa orchestrated political!jon back in season 7 and planned to have him manipulate Daenerys into coming north.

Summary
The Targaryens have ruled for a thousand years, an age of fire and blood, of dragons and decay.
Sansa knows this well, has nurtured her rancour over the past three years. The North lost its rebellion, her family dead in an unforgiving war. She’d still been at Winterfell to hear news of Robb’s death—of Bran’s and Rickon’s. Even Theon's. When the final siege came it was only she and Arya left with her parents against a horde of soldiers and their legion of dragons. Fire and blood indeed.
And now—now. Sansa is all that’s left.

Summary
Jon stares at her, and there is almost a hunger in his eyes, she wonders if she is imagining it. Sansa sees it whenever she names him a Stark, when she defends him as part of their pack. Their small, fractured, mangy pack of two. Battered and bruised wolves with tufted fur, but a pack all the same.

Jon doesn't go to Dragonstone, instead Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons come to Winterfell. Sansa realizes what is at stake as enemies circle her and Jon, and she won't let them threaten to take all that she holds dear. Littlefinger waits in the wings for his chance to strike. And in the south Cersei has stolen what was once thought lost. But winter is for wolves, and the cold has already started to take hold.
