The human realm is very different, but not as dangerous as the boiling isles. It definitely is strange though.

Boscha's scheme to embarrass Willow in front of her crush backfires spectacularly when she finds out they're already dating.
"I know, right? So embarrassing," Boscha forces out a laugh. "Surely you've noticed the way she looks at you. I mean, it's so obvious she's like, super into you."
"Well…" Hunter says, turning to face her with a bright smile, almost smitten, gaze softening to a spot just above her shoulder, and for a moment, Boscha thinks he's reconsidered, that she's about to break up an annoying friend group and snag herself a trophy boyfriend all in one fell swoop, when—
"I mean, I'd sure fucking hope so, considering she's my girlfriend."
A moment later, none other than Half-A-Witch Willow herself walks up behind her, brushing past Boscha like she's not even there, wrapping her arms around Hunter's neck and greeting him with a kiss that surely shouldn't be allowed on school property.

Hunter ends up letting himself be possessed by the collector and having the collector rewrite reality

Summary
She startles awake to the sound of Hooty yelling, abruptly sucking her out of the half-asleep state she had been in. She grabs her glyphs on instinct, one of the stacks of paper she leaves around her room for easy access.
When she finds Hooty, he has the door wide open and the body of a teenage boy slumped against the doorframe. A boy who is swathed in red from blood and grasping onto his staff like it’s the only thing keeping him from face planting.
And as Luz walks closer, the light of the moon catches on platinum blonde hair and she suddenly realizes that it’s The Golden Guard in the doorway.
Or, Hunter, his Palisman, and the wild witches who took him in.

Right before eclipse lake Belos hurts Hunter a bit too much for flapjacks liking, so flap takes him injured to the owl house
Flapjack is left at the owl house and Hunter returns to the castle
Eclipse lake happens however Hunter and amity do not fight (though he still has a break down)
Hunter breaking down after Belos has him kill people
Maybe delete BM, fic very dead
