Not nice like lazy Saturday mornings, the breakfast they'd ordered retrieved from the doormat in sweatpants and rumpled, threadbare t-shirts.
Not nice like the way he'd wrap his arms around her waist and drop his head to her chest when she brought him a sandwich while he worked at the kitchen table.
Not nice like sleep-warm skin and soft kisses and the smell of his cologne on the scarf she grabbed heading out the door.
