Summary
After the whole “being bound into the same book and being unable to be apart” situation, and the whole saving-the-world part of it all, one would expect things to go back to (relative) normal right? And so Mina thought that everything would be alright. She’d be queen, she’d figure out the whole ruling a kingdom thing, and she’d just have to do it with an annoying goth at her side. They’d get married, she’d make Bella her wife (and isn’t that a thought? She never even told anyone and by pure coincidence - or did they all know? She tried so hard to keep it hidden - she actually gets married to someone she could potentially be attracted to. Not that she’s attracted to Bella; she is annoying and goth and literally attached to her side, and Bella hated her, so it’s not like anything would even happen, even if she thought that Bella could look really pretty when she shut her mouth).
Anyway, not the point. The point is that everything is way harder than she expected it to be.

Amazing to look at, but burned out quickly, and if handled in the wrong way, we would have set everything on fire.” Juno stopped talking for a moment, took a deep breath. He clutched at Nureyev’s hand now and looked up at him. There were tears shining in his eyes.
“And now, Juno? Do you still think we’d destroy each other?” he asked softly.
After the disaster that was Zolotovna's auction, Peter and Juno start to mend their broken relationship.

Summary
Buck didn't think he'd end up back at Eddie's after everything. All the things that drove him here haven't changed and neither have the things that made him leave again. Thirty four years old and able to drop everything in his life because he had no dependents, no responsibilities, no ties. Chris was gone and Eddie was following him and Buck was only at South Bedford because he was being left behind.
Buck has reckoned with his feelings by now, this past year after Bobby, after everything that went on in the desert, the lengths Eddie went to, bringing things into sharper focus. He's in love with Eddie, has been in love with Eddie for so long it just became part of the fabric of the universe, the baseline from which Buck operates. He's made his peace with it too, aware that Eddie doesn't feel the same.
He'd do anything for Eddie and Chris but he felt more like a guest than he ever had when they came back to LA, sleeping on their couch, waiting to be asked to leave. Better to go than be pushed, he figured, and yet the path always seems to lead back to here.
So, South Bedford it is, only there are four of them now, not three because Buck is responsible for more than himself these days.

Eventually the zucchinis are all decimated and the Furbys are lined up how Bev wants them. Richie tucks his legs in and makes room for other people on the couch. When Mike sits next to him instead of Eddie, he tries not to be crestfallen. Being seated next to Mike is a blessing, and Eddie’s only two cushions away. Richie waits for Mike to get comfortable before plopping his legs in his lap so his toes are touching Eddie, anyway.
“Get your foot out of my armpit,” Eddie says, shoving Richie away. “What the hell are we watching?”
“I’m so glad you asked,” Richie says. For a moment, his stomach twists nervously. But the truth is, he knows he has nothing to be worried about, not anymore. “Who here likes to objectify men?”

“Okay, all right, well, I think we’re done here,” Eddie sighs, but when he glances into the rear-view mirror, he sees a smile on his face, and his cheeks are flushed. He frowns as something occurs to him. “Wait, are we? What did you call me for?”
“You called me, Eduardo.”
“I called you back, idiot!”
“Yeah, yeah. I dunno, man,” Richie says easily enough. Eddie can hear his fingers rattling against some hard surface as he talks, restlessly drumming as he speaks. “I saw Stan, and suddenly I realised that I fucking missed him, and then hot on the tails of that I was like… man, do I miss Eddie, jeez! So I called. That’s all. No biggie.”
“Oh,” Eddie breathes, and does not try to stop the pleased smile blooms with Richie’s words. “I, uh. I miss you too, jackass. God only knows why, but I do.”
Richie groans happily. “Man, that’s the stuff! Nobody insults me like you do, Eds.”
“Nobody deserves it like you,” Eddie grins, and Richie bursts into laughter. Eddie’s soul soars at the sound of it.
