Yu didn’t respond at first, but eventually gave a bone-weary exhale. “I’ll be fine, Yosuke.” He untangled his arm from where it was intertwined with Yosuke’s and went to unlock the door, but Yosuke grabbed his wrist before he could step away.
“Don’t give me that shit, Partner. You’ve seen the worst of me. Don’t try to hide.”

Summary

Miles scoffed, turning his back to Phoenix to slide a thick binder back into its slot on his bookshelf.
"Come on, Edgeworth! It’s a crucial angle for the case," Phoenix pleaded, leaning so far over the prosecutor’s desk that his tie dipped dangerously close to an open inkwell. He absentmindedly ignored the way Miles winced, his entire posture stiffening at the chaotic shifting of his perfectly stacked paperwork.
"The witness said they saw the handoff from the water,” Phoenix explained. “The only way to verify the line of sight is to get out there on a boat!”
