Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. And the Autobots who had believed they were doomed to a slow extinction, have no intention of letting their new little ones go.

Summary
Seekers were the terror of the skies, ripping Autobots apart midair with glee. Once created to protect Cybertron, they now ravaged it. Something had to be done.
When a tiny neonatal seekerling was discovered on a battlefield, the Autobots raised him with a plan: send him to infiltrate the Seekers when he was fully grown. Now an adult, Thundercracker has his work cut out for him.

Summary
Starscream waited three weeks, then four, then five, before finally accepting that his beacon had failed.
Calling for help had been a futile waste of his efforts. Either no one was searching for him, or the effort it took it claim him back was too great to bother with. His trine were not coming. Megatron was not coming.

Starscream does what he must to get his work done.
Including: kidnapping Skyfire, convincing Skyfire to commit a minor act of betrayal, and getting caught by Autobots…to get closer to Skyfire.
Or, Starscream has a hard time focusing on his work recently and blames Skyfire meanwhile his trine questions their morals.
(Think of this as a trine redemption fic with a side of SkyStar and you'll be happy)
Title is from the concept of "Body Doubling". Body Doubling: a technique used to increase focus and motivation where an individual does their work in the presence of another.
