Summary
When some ancient and unknown Homeworld technology accidentally erases their memories, the Crystal Gems assume that the amount of time they're missing is insignificant. After-all, for beings that measure their life-span in millennium, thirteen years is trivial.
Or normally it is. But it appears that these last thirteen years have been more eventful than the previous thirteen centuries combined, and it becomes clear that the Gems cannot afford to forget any of it. Now, with their leader gone, and saddled with a half-human boy who claims to be her son, they must somehow find a way to restore what they lost.

"Because," Jason laughed, pulling the car out of the parking lot. "A friend messaged me asking if I wanted to join up for a job with my old team, and I think it would be fun to introduce you guys."
"You have friends?" Slipped out instinctively, more curious than insulting, but Damian still pressed his lips together in amusement at Jason's dramatic gasp, quickly turning to look out the window and avoid his older brother's fury.
"Ok, first of all," Jason shot back loudly, holding up a finger in his direction. "The only friends you've ever had have been my subordinates that I'd ordered to take care of you, second-,"
"Hit a nerve there, didn't I?" Damian turned to input gleefully.
"-SECOND," Jason yelled over him.

Summary
Damian pushed himself into a sitting position, only then realizing he was in a bed. There was a comfortable blanket over him, and a plush pillow where his head had been resting. Damian blinked, not exactly sure what to think. It would be much more helpful if he could remember who he was.
Damian attempted to draw something, ANYTHING from his mind, but it was impossibly blank.
Damian fisted up the fabric of his blanket, and idly noted how clean the white throw looked. Were blankets supposed to be that clean?
Damian searched his arms, finding many scars running along his skin. Why did he have so many scars? What could have possibly have given him so many cuts? That didn’t seem normal, did it? Did normal people his age have this many scars?
His age…what was his age? How old was he?
He…couldn't remember.

All his life people have been telling him how beautiful he was. Trial and error taught Percy that if he could never excape those watchful eyes—if he could not gouge them out—he must embrace them. It was the only way to keep ahold of his sanity.
