Astarion opened his eyes, breath caught in his throat. His skin crawled, cock softening, as he met Halsin’s gaze in the dark. Adjusting took a moment. The world faded into focus in greys, doing nothing to assuage Astarion's panic.
It was clear that Halsin was concerned. He had that strange look about him. The same one he wore when Astarion dodged important conversations like what do you plan to do about the ritual, or are you all right?
It made him feel so… horribly seen.
Astarion can't push memories of Cazador away. When he wakes, Halsin is there to comfort him.

Halsin seems to be retired to the countryside of Baldur's Gate with both Tav and Shadowheart. They're happy together, and Halsin considers both how he got to be so lucky but also what he wants to do in the future.
