Summary
Fed up with a negligent Ministry and a manipulative Headmaster, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger identify forty-seven instances where adults compromised Harry's safety. Breaking the script, they perform a ritual to become siblings by choice—the Potter-Blacks—and flee to New York.
While Britain scours the Lake District for ghosts, Harry and Hermione find sanctuary with the Caldwell family and excel at the Columbia Arcane Program. All of these require the 'The Trial of Harry Potter' as a prologue.
