Summary
Laughter is a precious thing cherished by many. Professor Poopypants does not cherish it, however. In fact, he would rather see it destroyed. And now, it seems like his vision is coming to fruition...
The Last Laugh is set in an alternate timeline where Professor Poopypants and Melvin Sneedly successfully wiped the collective sense of humour of every person at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, including even George and Harold. How this happened, who knows? Maybe he pronounced Uranus differently, or maybe he didn't mention the gas giant at all. How the timeline diverted doesn't matter though. What does matter is that Poopypants' plan is on a smooth course to success and Piqua is not where it will end. Laughter's days are numbered, how will the world react?
Each chapter of The Last Laugh will take a look at different parts of society and we will see how they will react to the end of laughter. The characters will usually be different in each chapter, but Professor Poopypants and Melvin will be recurring characters as the story progresses.
