The bad news is that Kit and the Miz aren’t back to normal.
Danhausen had managed to halt whatever misfiring of neurons that had them twitching, mumbling old catchphrases in the corner. But rather than returning to their usual selves, they were instead wiped completely clean.
The good news is that this made them spectacularly easy to train. And Danhausen is more than pleased to have a pair of eager assistants.

Summary
Sami blinks, and it clicks. He steps forward to rest a hand upon Gunther’s shoulder, kneading it lightly with his thumb.
“He doesn’t need to hate himself,” Sami whispers. “And neither do you.”
Gunther exhales through his nose, brushing Sami away. “I don’t deserve the kindness. Other people do. Like Jey. Like…you.”
Despite himself, Sami feels a smile spreading across his lips.
“Goddamn,” he says, shaking his head. Gunther frowns.
“What?”
“You’re just like Jey,” Sami says, chuckling. “My God, that’s exactly what he would say. It’s amazing. Despite everything, deep down, you two are…exactly the same.”
-After a few months rehabbing, Gunther returns to RAW - and now it's Jey who needs him. But when Gunther struggles to reach out, it's Sami who has to get through to them both.

How could he not have known, before? A champion deserves gold. And Jey Uso, himself, is golden all over. His plated teeth. His chain adorning his neck. His pierced ears. Occasionally a couple rings, or a wristwatch when he feels especially showy. And of course, his soft skin that shimmers just barely in the evening sun. Or, in this case, lamplight.
If this goddamned company won’t give Gunther the prize he deserves, then he’ll pick out one of his own choosing.

It’s not a compliment or lament, but a statement of fact. Drew swallows, nods.
“Me, too.”
Now his hands trail down from Punk’s face, tracing over his chest, his taut abdomen until landing around his hips. He grasps them tightly, slowly lifting Punk up his length.
“And…” he pauses only to gaze at Punk one last time. “I think I always will be.”
