Summary
Tommy could feel the way his friends' eyes were still on him and he knew that he owed them some kind of explanation about what was going on. The look in Freppa's eyes was one of pure concern, and Määnin.. Well, whatever he was thinking was perfectly hidden behind his shades.
"I heard they're going to sell Grillen. That guy.. he's planning on selling it. We need to buy it!"
Tommy finally shed some much needed light on the situation. The concern on Freppa's face was replaced with an almost unusually deep frown.
"Us, buy Grillen? Why?"
he just had to wonder. Tommy huffed and sat up a little straighter.
"Because otherwise that's one more iconic local business we're going to lose!" -

"I tried to read about it last night when I couldn't sleep, but.. I'm not sure if I really understood everything.."
Tommy mumbled. What he left unsaid, however, was how his heart had started beating faster and he'd gotten a little freaked out for reasons he still wasn't able to explain rationally, so he'd stopped reading and quickly put his phone away. Even in broad daylight it felt too embarrassing to even think, let alone talk about.
"About what?"
Freppa asked, some of that specific concern making its way back to his voice, again. Whenever Tommy decided to open up about something, no matter how rarely it happened, Freppa was always there to listen. And now it looked like he was really going to make Tommy voice the things he didn't feel the most comfortable voicing.Series

Summary
Two days before Christmas, the last thing Tommy expects is to pick up a stranded, double-denim-clad man on the side of the Finnish highway.
Määnin is everything Tommy is not: charismatic and unapologetically out. He’s also just been kicked out of his boyfriend’s car in the middle of nowhere.
A simple offer of a ride to Vöro turns into an unexpected invitation to stay for Christmas with Määnin’s loud and loving family. And might just be the detour they both desperately needed.
