He leans in and envelops his old… something around the shoulders, hoping with every fiber of his being Izuku doesn’t do the smart thing and push him away. He never did before, but it has been eleven years; maybe he finally wizened up, grew a backbone. Katsuki wouldn’t blame him. Might be proud, even.
But some things remain unaffected by the passage of time: The sun will always rise in the east. Flour, yeast, salt, and water will always make bread. And, evidently, Izuku Midoriya will always receive whatever Katsuki Bakugou is willing to give.

Katsuki left the keys in the ceramic dish.
In his other hand he carried a paper bag with two slices of lemon pie and a transparent box containing a limited-edition All Might collectible figure, the one Deku was missing.
He had planned to surprise him: his nerd would be hunched over his books, biting his lip, and he would come in, ruffle his hair and put the desserts on the table. Maybe afterward he’d pull him by the hand toward the sofa and they’d watch an old hero movie, and maybe later he could ask Izuku to make good use of the preparation he did in the shower.
Something simple. Something normal.
Then he heard a moan.
Loud. Torn. Unmistakable.
Katsuki’s heart stopped, then raced. The bag slipped from his fingers. The pie hit the floor with a soft thud, the figurine tinkled against the wood.

He’s in hell. He must be. He probably died during the villain attack yesterday and now he's being punished for all his mortal sins. The duckling quacks again, and Bakugou valiantly fights the urge to murder what could only be Deku disguised as a duck.
Aizawa sighed, "Bakugou, I fully understand that this arrangement is not..." He glanced down at the furiously squirming duckling. "...ideal."
"Do you?" He ground his teeth. "Do you really?"

A quirk accident causes Deku to change into a duckling. This immediately becomes Katsuki's problem.
Oh well, how hard can taking care of one duckling be?
