Cale arrived in Academy City through a secret dimensional experiment run by the same dark-side scientists pushing the Level 6 Shift Project. They discovered he was already a perfect Level 6 (ancient powers registering as an esper ability that doesn’t follow normal AIM rules). Accelerator was brought in to “analyze” him. Through brutal experiments, late-night venting sessions, and mutual “I only listen to you” respect, they became an unstoppable power couple in everything but official labels.
Cale’s three kids (Raon, On, Hong appearing as normal cute children with hidden powers) instantly adopted Accelerator as “Father/Papa Accel.” Last Order latched onto Cale as “Mother.” Everyone else in Academy City thinks Cale is a beautiful transfer girl who is dating the #1 Level 5. The jealousy is nuclear. Cale still has every ancient power and uses them casually while trying (and failing) to slack off.

This story is written as 5+1 story from the Justice League's POV as they attempt to define the weird relationship between Batman and Captain Marvel. 5 times they didn't realize Batman had adopted Captain Marvel, and the 1 time they did.
