Summary
And so Sojiro threw him an apron and taught him what he could. A place to stay, chores to do, a lecture every now and then and someone to care when he came home; it wasn’t much, but it was all a crotchety loner like him could do.
Spoilers through 11/21.

Summary
“Ah…Caroline was right. It is very sad when you try to be funny, Inmate.”
“C’mon…She’s messing with me,” Ren explains, to a perplexed-looking Akechi. “They do that. You know, my friend here’s got more in common with you than you might think. He actually wants to lock me up, kinda.”
“That isn’t true, Inmate,” says Justine, in her serene, uncanny voice. Is it his imagination, or is it softer than usual? “This man wants to kill you.”
*
Early November. Ren ill-advisedly tries to explain the Velvet Room to Akechi, after Akechi demonstrates an awareness that something's there during a routine trip to Mementos. He shouldn't be telling Akechi anything, but there's no one else he can talk to about this, or talk to like this. They kick rocks down the empty train tracks. Soon it's all going to be over.

Summary
A strange sensation is affecting her ocular receptors. She cannot cry the way humans do, and yet Kotone is reaching for her face, as if to brush tears away. When she removes her hand, Aigis can see the glistening liquid on one of her fingers.
“I don’t understand,” she confesses helplessly. The emotions are building within her, making it difficult to breathe— and yet she does not need to breathe, cannot even do so, because— “I’m a machine. Why do I feel this way?”
Kotone’s expression is very soft. “You’re not a machine, Aigis. Remember?” At the look on Aigis’s face, she lets out a pained little laugh. The sound of it cuts Aigis to the quick. “Of course you don’t. Nobody— nobody remembers. Nobody but me.”
“I do remember,” Aigis persists. “I remember— you. The person most precious to me. The one I—”
“The one you what?”
Aigis may not be able to remember much following Nyx's sealing, but she can at least remember how Kotone Shiomi made her feel.

Summary
"Everything I do is of the utmost importance.”
“Like protecting humans from Shadows.”
Aigis meets her gaze. Unlike Junpei, she does not seem perturbed by the things that mark her as being a robot. She does not blink as she responds, “Yes. Such as protecting you, as well.”
Kotone leans over the back of an armchair, her gaze intense as she looks at Aigis. Aigis looks back unflinchingly. This is what makes her good at her duty. She will carry out her tasks until such a time as the threat is neutralized or she is no longer able to do so.
“Having fun is important, too, Aigis. If we all just sat around here doing nothing in between our trips to Tartarus, we wouldn’t be able to even set foot in the place. You have to have some downtime, too.”
“Perhaps humans must,” Aigis agrees. “But I was built differently, Kotone-san.”
Aigis learns how to be human.
