When she finally got her courage up enough to say anything to Keyleth about her revelation, it was comical. In her panic, Vex had forgotten that flirting with Keyleth was one of the most entertaining and alluring things in the world, and doing it consciously was even more fun. Keyleth had sputtered and gone a delightful shade of bright red, then promptly fallen right out of her chair, and Vex knew this was all going to work out just fine.
(or, five times that Vex and Keyleth spent together in the gardens of Whitestone).

Glinda hadn’t realized it was her. Until the woman turns. And yes; razor sharp cheekbones, mesmerizing emerald eyes framed by long lashes, those curious infinity-frame glasses through which she peers, meeting Glinda’s shocked stare– that certainly is Glinda’s ex-girlfriend, one Miss Elphaba Thropp, looking just as incredible as ever. Still the prettiest woman in Oz, as far as Glinda’s aware.
And here Glinda is, cheeks blotchy from stress, eyes watery and nearly on the verge of bawling, hair wind-blasted and disheveled. Perfect.
Elphaba turns the scalpel of her gaze on Glinda, a quick once over with eyes clever and curious, like she can make sense of this disaster with just a look. She arches an eyebrow in question, gestures at the table, shrugs as if to say, it's there if you want it.
