Summary
Mike is in way over his head.
He's an eighteen year-old with no college experience scrambling to write a decent two-thousand words for Rolling Stone by the time the band reaches New York. Nobody seems to understand that his entire life and career are on the line: the lead guitarist refuses to sit still for an interview, Mike's so high that he can't even think, he wants the lead guitarist to die, and his head won't turn away from a brown-haired roadie with too-short shorts and major relationship issues.
