“You would’ve done nothing,” Genesis snaps with a roll of his eyes. “You would have done nothing, because you were too busy riding the line of your honor to bother helping your oldest friend. Don’t bother deceiving yourself.”
Genesis ends that tirade with a leer, scanning Angeal from his shoulders to his crotch, reaching down to hook two fingers in one of his belt loops. “The least you owe me is a good fuck.”

He needed to get their attention focused on the information he could offer, instead of the threat he represented. He needed them to not immediately see him as a danger and try to kill him. Just a friendly demon here for a friendly chat, no need for weapons.
