Summary
There was the sound of the door shutting. A few footsteps.
“She’s not here?” the voice asked.
Zoey dropped her voice lower, almost conspiratorial. “No. She went out—probably won’t be back for, like… fifteen, twenty minutes.”
A beat of silence. Then a quiet chuckle. “Good. Then I can steal you for a while.”
There was a nervous little hiccup of laughter from Zoey. “Wait—don’t get too close, I’m still live—”
“I’ll stay out of frame,” the voice promised, tone coaxing.
The sound of a hand brushing fabric, then a soft shuffle—the mic catching the rustle as Zoey was pulled slightly sideways. A faint smack of lips meeting. Quick. Too quick to be mistaken.
Chat slowed to a crawl.
[ewhfjdjw;]: ???????
[rumi4lifer]: wait…
[sealoverfour45]: SHE DIDNT MUTE THE MIC OMG

Summary
Rumi has been standing in front of the wooden gate for approximately ten minutes now, listening to Mira and Zoey bicker inside her house. This is so stupid. She could just take the leaves from the oregano plant from within her reach. It's right there.
But Mira insisted that they had oregano inside and told Rumi to wait here. So she waits.
"Zoey, how did you rearrange the spice cabinet?!"
"By vibes!"
"What does that even mean?!"
Rumi hid her cough with her fist. She just needed one oregano leaf, not whatever these idiots were trying to give her.

In which Rumi doesn't know why her mothers keep asking her to ask for leaves from the new neighbors, but she does so anyway because she's a good daughter. Zoey and Mira fumble their chance with Rumi (or do they?) because they don't know their plants.or in which the author really projects their culture on Rumi and Celine.

Summary
Rumi, a half demon, infiltrates the band that is meant to protect the honmoon. Mira and Zoey find out, but unfortunately it's hard to kill your own bandmate during live performances, and even harder to kill her when she keeps flirting with you to throw off your game.
Aka the fic where Rumi is bad at flirting in every timeline, Zoey is a bit of a freak to no one's surprise, and Mira has too many feelings that don't include being stabby.
