Soap chews his eggs slowly, because Gaz is his best mate, and he doesn’t want to lie to him, but it’s not exactly as if he can just say “Icarus’d it, mate, flew too close to the damn sun and got burnt and now it’s over.”
He shrugs a little instead, obfuscates, says, “Dunno.”
“Well that’s bollocks,” Gaz scoffs, “Wanna try again?”

König lay back on the pillows and turned to you, watching your body shift with each breath. Your back was turned to him, but that didn’t deter him from looking. Raking down your body and delighting in the small sliver of skin exposed from your rucked up shirt. Just a glimpse of soft flesh that had him grinning under the hood.

It’s almost anticlimactic, the end of their dance; his delicate steps and looping logic to work out why bulldozed as Ghost comes out one random night and says, “I can’t fuck.”
