Summary
When preparing to rescue Vander, Vi tells Mylo, Claggor, and Powder all about the monster that attacked, and the man with one black eye who commanded it. Powder's hands, shaking with nerves, assembles her bomb just a little slower . . . and she arrives at the cannery a little later.
Powder sees a monster pounding on a door -but that's okay, because Vi always chases the monsters away. So Powder sees a man with a black eye, and knows who she needs to send her bomb for.
The family may survive the cannery, but can they survive what follows?

Summary
It took a moment for everything to click. How she constantly forgot that she was visibly pregnant to other people was a mystery, but it stood to reason that Ekko didn’t want to feed another man’s pregnant wife and get himself in trouble.
In Powder’s case, the father was a man she’d never met before in a town she’d only ever visited once, under the influence of several mocktails, her ovulation cycle, and a dream to exercise her free will in a normal, twenty-six year old way.
“I don’t have a partner,” she said plainly. “This was an oopsie-daisy after a long week.”
“Oh. Okay,” Ekko said. “I’m… happy for you? Or sorry? I don’t know.”
Powder huffed, releasing the tension in her shoulders. “We’re really fucking this up, aren’t we?”

Summary
When it comes to the Alphas' infamous greatest strength, the Command, plenty of factors come into play. Age. Designation of the recipient. Determination of the Alpha. The level of trust between them, particularly in the context of a familial or mating bond.
Every single one of these factors is against Powder when Vi Commands her to stay. Powder cries and screams and smashes her weak, useless fists against her weak-willed, useless head, but her legs remain rooted to her room, to safety.
Powder hates Alphas—almost as much as she hates herself.
In which Ekko is Silco's left hand, Vi leads the resistance against him, and Powder lives safely in Piltover—until she doesn't.
