I'm not sure when dreams of evisceration turned to lust but it's full on raging now. I'm so rattled that even my saya shakes. Red's eyes widen a bit at that tiny flair of reiatsu and his gaze focuses in on the little alcove where I sit. Of course King is oblivious to it, honestly, a rock is better at sensing reiatsu than him. Renji finally looks away from me as Ichigo gets ready for class. Today is Wednesday and Wednesday is Kendo Day which means that King won't be home until well after dark. At first when King had taken up kendo I was pissed. Why did he get to fight and I just got to sit here looking pretty but now I'm excited. Red and I are finally going to have some alone time.

Summary
Anbu has a new arrangement. While a captain's orders to his team are absolute, that is no longer the case inside the anbu compound. There, each team is given complete authority over their captains instead. And each team can do whatever they like with that authority, so long as they remember that their captain will regain control over them when they leave.
Note: This takes place in a vague sort of place after shippuden kind of happens. Naruto and his friends are about 20 by now, so Itachi is 25 and Kakashi's 32. For reasons that will become obvious, there is now a very strict age requirement (18+) for who is let into anbu.

Summary
The ANBU have always been revered within Konoha. Their presence and elite talents were a necessity to the village and no one dared to undercut the importance of their position.
Given the intensity and moral ambiguity of their work, the village founders had gathered together early on and come to an unwritten agreement on a method for keeping their elite nin calm and satisfied while in the village.
Thus all nin, regardless of rank or sex or age, came to know that if an ANBU wanted you, they were entirely permitted to have you.
