In which All For One becomes a dad, the Dekusquad becomes a gang of felons, and Aizawa wonders how he ended up with 21 depressed teenagers as his children.
Or, alternatively, when Izuku was roaming the streets as a Vigilante Hero (Dark Deku), All For One kidnaps him and brainwashes him after realizing he couldn’t take One For All.
In a way, he does gain control of the Quirk. But Ochaco didn’t like that.
So, she got the Dekusquad (and Bakugo) together and they figured, “Why not try to do something to help even though we don’t really have experience and it’s super dangerous?”

Izuku never thought his "saviours" wouldnt be heroes, but instead villians. Even if they saved him on accident, he never thought someone might WANT to save him
He also never thought that his quirk was too weak to be considered one.
